| The Technical Sales Manager will be the driving force in the introduction of the non-phthalate Plasticizers K-Flex® products into the European market and will be supporting the implementation of the business strategy. He/she will be responsible for translating customer needs into research and technology projects and at the same provide technical and application support to existing and new customers. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic explorer of technical market opportunities in new added value applications and translate these in continuous innovation for the company. He/ she will also monitor and report on relevant market trends, product regulatory compliance, competition and sales-channels. This position involves approximately 50 % traveling primarily within Europe but also to the United States. |

Required skills: A specialization or experience in plasticizer or polymer chemistry is essential. You must be at ease in communicating with different cultures and enjoy project management. A confident, outgoing personality in combination with proven intellectual skills will make the successful candidate.
Qualifications:
-You have an academic degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
-You are familiar with application development processes as well from a technological as commercial point of view, preferably in PVC, coatings, adhesives and sealants.
-5-10 years working experience in technical positions (technical support/service or application development) within an international B2B chemical multidisciplinary business environment.
-Fluency in English orally as in writing. Knowledge of other European languages is an asset.

Salary indication depends on experience/background. Relocation to our EMEA HQ’s in Geleen (NL) is preferred but not required. We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who likes the challenge of working in a dynamic and changing environment of a company.
